Time is one of the most valuable commodities we have. Companies spend millions of dollars researching ways to make tools faster and more efficient, as well as ways to produce these tools faster and more efficient. It would seem that much in life revolves around time. This why at REVStaffing we believe firmly in helping our clients save time by working smarter, not harder.
Hiring a real estate virtual assistant is only the first step – it does not cover all the bases. You have to effectively delegate tasks to your assistant in order to ensure optimum efficiency. In our ten years of business, we have learned that the best way to accomplish this is by creating thorough action plans.
What is an action, or task, plan?
It is a series of steps completed once a certain action is executed. This action could be listing a property, closing a property, putting a property under contract, getting a new lead or prospect, etc. Once one of these actions take place, like listing a new property, then the plan would detail everything you want completed, step by step. These steps could include:
- creating a virtual tour
- creating a listing page on sites like Realbird or Postlets
- enhancements on third party sites like Zillow, Trulia, and Realtor.com
- posting the listing in places like Craiglists, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- blogging about special features and the community of the listing
- creating ‘just listed’ postcards, and much more
This list can be as long as you would like.
Once action plans are created, they can be delegated to your real estate virtual assistant so you can focus on finding more business.
Need help creating effective action plans? We can do that too.
