As of January 28, 2019, Hootsuite will stop support for Google+.<\/p>\n
This is following Google\u2019s announcement of\u00a0October 2018\u00a0that it is shutting down Google+ for consumers. Google has recently\u00a0announced plans<\/a>\u00a0to begin shutting down the network\u2019s APIs as early as January 28, and will complete the shut down on March 7, 2019.<\/p>\n On January 28, authentication with Google+ will no longer be available. In Hootsuite, this means no longer being able to add or reconnect Google+ pages or profiles. Signing in to the dashboard and mobile app using the Google+ sign-in option will also intermittently fail starting January 28. Any messages scheduled to post to Google+ after January 28 could also fail to publish.<\/p>\n If you currently use the Google+ sign-in option to access your Hootsuite account<\/strong> Google+ will be removed completely from Hootsuite dashboards on February 28, 2019.<\/p>\n
\nMake sure there is a valid email address and password in your Hootsuite account settings that you can use to continue accessing the account.<\/p>\n\n
