It’s summertime and you would love to get some time away but as a real estate agent, it’s very difficult. You have active listings and prospective buyers. How do you manage your business while trying to get some R & R?
Plan Ahead
Look at all areas of your business, figure out what you can do beforehand, what needs to be delegated and automated. Ensure you have all of the appropriate smartphone apps installed before you leave. Make sure that you know your usernames and passwords for your accounts. Communicate with your virtual assistant as to what tasks they can perform for you.
Schedule times to check in
Before you leave, set up designated times to check in with clients and your virtual assistant, either by mobile phone or video conferencing so you can unplug without losing touch.
Share your documents
Use Google Docs, Dropbox or Evernote so that there is one central location for everyone to keep shared documents. Your virtual assistant can simply log in and take care of any urgent business.
Update your Social Media
You’re on vacation but your business is still working hard. Social media is a great way to stay in touch with clients and create viral marketing pieces while you are away.
You’ve worked hard, planned appropriately, now enjoy your time off.
